These Quick and Easy Candied Walnuts are incredibly fast to make and absolutely delicious! There’s no need for hot, boiling syrup or beating egg whites. In just a few minutes, you can mix together a few simple ingredients, and voila! You’ll have perfectly coated, crispy, sweet candied walnuts with a hint of spice. This is truly the only candied nut recipe you’ll ever need!

  • Walnuts (halved is preferable)
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Kosher Salt
  • Cayenne
  • Black Pepper

How to Make Quick and Easy Candied Walnuts

Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Mix powdered sugar, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper in a small bowl. Toss with walnuts until walnuts are coated. Sprinkle in the water and continue to toss, thoroughly coating the walnuts.

Spread the walnuts on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake for 12 – 15 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking. Cool the walnuts in the pan; break apart if needed and store them in a mason jar or airtight container.
